"I've tried three different lawn services and Live Oak is by far the best. The edges are crisp, the price is fair, and Wilks always follows up to make sure I'm happy."

📞 (910) 679-6923Lawn mowing starts at $45 per visit for a quarter-acre lot. Larger lots are $75–$95 (1 acre) or $150–$180 (2+ acres). One-time services like mulch ($100–$200), pine straw ($80–$150), and leaf cleanup ($40–$100) are quoted per job. No contracts, free quotes.
Weekly mowing during the growing season (roughly April–October) keeps most warm-season lawns sharp. Bi-weekly works for slower-growing centipede grass. Mowing slows or pauses late November through March.
Most Wilmington-area lawns are centipede (low-maintenance), bermuda (sun-loving), St. Augustine (shade-tolerant), or zoysia. The right pick depends on sun, drainage, and how much upkeep you want.
Most coastal-Carolina lawns wake up by late March or early April as warm-season grasses break dormancy. The most popular start window is the first two weeks of April — booking in March locks in your preferred day before the spring rush.

We handle routine yard debris and minor branch and leaf cleanup after standard storms. We don't take on major hurricane debris hauling — that needs specialized equipment — but light storm aftermath can fold right into a normal visit.
No contracts, ever. Pause, change, or cancel anytime with no fees. We earn your business every visit.
We reschedule for the next available day — usually within 24–48 hours — and text you the new time.

Every job is backed by our personal commitment — if any property damage happens during a visit, we cover the repair cost out of pocket so you're never on the hook. As the business grows, we're transitioning to a formal general liability policy.
Our core services are mowing, trimming, mulch, pine straw, and seasonal cleanups. We don't offer chemical treatments or fertilization, but we're happy to recommend trusted local providers.
