Weekly, bi-weekly, or one-time

During the growing season — roughly April through October here — weekly mowing keeps warm-season grass sharp and prevents the scraggly look that comes from letting it stretch. Bi-weekly works well for slower-growing centipede lawns and cooler months. Need a single cleanup cut before a cookout or a listing photo? We do one-time cuts too.

Growth slows way down from late November through March, and we'll tell you honestly when your lawn doesn't need us.

Common questions

How often should I mow my lawn in Wilmington?

Weekly during the April–October growing season for most bermuda, St. Augustine, and zoysia lawns. Slower-growing centipede can often go bi-weekly. From late November to March most lawns need little to no mowing.

What happens if it rains on my mowing day?

We reschedule to the next available day — usually within 24–48 hours — and send you a text so you're never wondering.

Do I need to be home?

Nope. As long as we can reach the lawn safely, we'll mow, edge, blow off, and send you a photo if you'd like one.

Does a standard mow include leaf cleanup?

Every mow includes blowing grass clippings and loose debris off your driveway and walkways, so the property is left tidy when we finish. It isn't a full leaf cleanup — raking, clearing built-up leaves, bagging, and haul-away are our separate Leaf Cleanup service. In tree-covered yards, new leaves can start falling again within hours of a visit. Leaf Cleanup starts at $45.

What if something was missed on my visit?

Text or call us within 24 hours of your visit and we'll come back and make it right at no charge. We'd rather fix it than lose your trust. The 24-hour window lets us review the work while the yard still reflects what we did — after that, new leaf fall, storms, and everyday use change the property, so later requests are scheduled as a new, quoted visit.
